DR ABBIE

Dr Abbie Maroño is a behavioral scientist specializing in trust, influence, nonverbal communication, and human decision-making.

Earning her PhD in Psychology, she became a Professor at 23, and was later recognized by the U.S. Department of State for extraordinary ability in behavioral science. She has delivered training to representatives from 29 US federal agencies, including the Secret Service, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security, as well as senior leadership at INTERPOL. She has also been named one of Central Florida’s 40 Under 40 by the Orlando Business Journal.

She is the creator of The Upper Hand, a proprietary framework that translates behavioral science into practical tools for leadership, negotiation, and communication. Dr Abbie is a bestselling author, TEDx speaker, and trusted media expert featured on BBC News, Fox News, WIRED, Reuters, Forbes, Court TV, and many more.
