DR ABBIE
Dr. Abbie Maroño is a behavioral scientist and keynote speaker specializing in trust, influence, and nonverbal communication.
After earning her PhD in Psychology, she became a university professor at just 23. She was later recognized by the U.S. Department of State for extraordinary ability in behavioral science and, by age 27, had delivered training to personnel from 29 U.S. federal agencies, including the FBI and U.S. Secret Service, as well as INTERPOL leadership, making her one of the youngest known experts to deliver behavioral science training at this level.
Her proprietary training program, The Upper Hand, draws on the science of influence, persuasion, trust, and nonverbal communication. Known for making complex research accessible and immediately applicable, Dr. Abbie equips audiences with practical tools to communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, navigate resistance, and understand the behavior of those around them.
Dr. Abbie has been named one of Central Florida’s 40 Under 40 and recognized as an American Heart Association Leader of Impact. She is a TEDx speaker and a trusted media expert whose work and commentary have been featured by BBC News, Fox News, WIRED, Reuters, Forbes, Court TV, and other major media outlets.
